The copolymerization of Vinylpyrrolidone and Vinyl Acetate monomers produces  the PVP/VA Copolymer. This Copolymer is also water-soluble but is less hygroscopic and more flexible than pure PVP. These properties optimize its film-forming and binding characteristics, making it preferred in coatings, films, and as a binder in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications.
